The planning function for the Sands estate has formally been returned to the Surf Coast Shire Council (SCSC).
The water quality of the stormwater leaving the Sands into the Karaaf wetlands continues to be very poor despite the work done by the Sands community on improving their wetlands.
The swimming pool complex which is located within The Coast Owners Corporation development is for the sole use of OC2 residents and tenants.
The process for dwelling approvals in the Sands Estate is now a more conventional planning / building process; the need for a permit might not always be required.
The next creditors meeting was extended to the 21 October, 2020 by application to the Supreme Court who awarded the extension on 3 August, 2020

Australian Ecosystems was awarded the contract to remove the Surfcoast’s designated weeds from the 8.14 ha of common property and the typha from the waterways.
Over the past three months repairs have been completed for Weirs 1 (near the 2nd Tee), Weir 3 (half way down the 8th fairway) and Weir 4 (opposite the 9th Tee).
