The Sands Community Easter Family Day was held at The Sands Torquay Resort, in the Al Fresco area and Shirley’s Bar on Sunday 10th April. Finger food was served for adults and children. Drinks were available for purchase from the Bar. Almost 100 Easter baskets were distributed to the kids and over 100 adults attended.
The Easter bunny arrived at 3.30pm and children collected chocolate eggs in baskets from the golf course near the Resort. There was an excited crowd in attendance and the weather was great for the event. The service and food provided by the Resort management staff was excellent.
Many thanks to residents Jeanette and John Girling, Denise Birch, Kate King, Eva Chappell, and David Ferguson; and Committee members Morven Foster, Kerstin Grant, Paul Fielding and Mary Ferguson for making it such a successful day.
This event is organised by The Sands Owners Corporation and is free for Sands resident’s and their families.
