Ninety eight residents had a brilliant night at “The Sands Community Dinner” on Saturday 3rd November. Our thanks go to the organisers Mary Ferguson, Denise Birch and Jeanette Girling.
The band “Fiction” was amazing. The lead singers were Sally who was in the top 20 in the 2009 “Australian Idol” and Ben who was a finalist in “The Voice” 2018 and has been touring America with “The Ten Tenors” for the last 6 years. They played a full range of the old favourites and everyone was up dancing because the sound was so good. Bens vocal range was unbelievable!
The presentation of the Balmoral Room with flowers, free wine and the wonderful view of the golf course and the sand dunes provided a setting for the night which would be hard to beat anywhere. A great night, good food, great music and lots of friends to enjoy it with. The Xmas Community Drinks with Santa are on Friday 14 December.
